P4ELECS Workshop Days in Arnhem: Shaping Europe’s Electrification Skills for the Future

The P4ELECS Workshop Days brought together experts and stakeholders from across Europe to exchange insights and collaborate on how to strengthen the skills ecosystems that will power Europe’s energy transition.

Key Highlights

During the workshop, participants:

- Kicked off the process to identify the skills needs in the Dutch electrification ecosystem – the first of five national analyses to be conducted across Italy, Belgium, Germany and Latvia.

- Officially launched the Building Block Platform, a major milestone towards modular, innovative learning in the electrification field.

- Shared experiences and best practices from across Europe, reinforcing the strong collaboration that underpins the P4ELECS partnership.

Resources Now Available

Participants and stakeholders can now access:

- Presentations from Jan Cromwijk (CRT), Christian Wildt & Maëla Barçon (Hanse-Parlament), Cécile Weber (Ecorys) and Koen Maassen (Topsector Energie);

Presentation of some key preliminary findings from the interview process in the P4ELECS five skill ecosystem by Elena Gentilini;

- “P4ELECS in a Nutshell”, a presentation by project coordinator Annick Dexter, offering an overview of the project’s vision and progress.

Next Steps

Looking ahead, we will lead an assessment of the workshop outcomes to deepen understanding of the Dutch skills ecosystem and identify priority areas for future collaboration.

The P4ELECS consortium thanks all participants for their active engagement and contributions. Together, partners and stakeholders are helping to build the skills and competences that will drive Europe’s energy transition forward. ⚡
