Experts Convene in Arnhem for Electrification Skills Workshop

Policy makers, educators and industry experts from across Europe are set to gather in Arnhem this autumn for the P4ELECS Workshop Days, a high-impact event focused on the future of upskilling in the fast-evolving electrification sector. The event, scheduled for 30 September – 1 October 2025, will be hosted at Connectr and HAN University of Applied Sciences.

The two-day workshop is part of the EU-backed P4ELECS initiative and will bring together stakeholders from Belgium, Germany, Italy, Latvia, the Netherlands and beyond to co-develop solutions for one of Europe’s most pressing challenges: preparing the workforce for the green energy transition.

This workshop is about more than just knowledge sharing, it’s about building a pan-European ecosystem for modular, flexible, and industry-responsive training,” said Annick Dexters from KU Leuven, leading the P4ELECS initiative.

Why Attend?
The Workshop will offer a dynamic blend of panel discussions, interactive mapping sessions, live demonstrations and technical deep dives into new technologies such as photovoltaics, wind energy and smart grids. Attendees will also get exclusive access to the brand-new P4ELECS Building Blocks Platform, designed to support educators and training centres in tailoring programs to emerging industry needs.

Highlights Include:

  • A guided tour of Connectr, Arnhem’s cutting-edge energy innovation hub
  • Co-creation sessions focused on regional skills ecosystems
  • Launch of the P4ELECS digital platform for vocational and higher education collaboration
