Timeline 20 February 2025 at 16:32🚀 We're excited to share our progress in exploring opportunities through the application of systems thinking in the electrification sector. 🌍⚡️ #Education , #innovation and #employment are at the core of our mission at P4ELECS .
As we progress with our stakeholder mapping in Belgium, Germany, Italy, Latvia, and the Netherlands, we're now ready to explore more in depth roles and relations in the five ecosystems around some macro key-objectives :
🌎 Improving skills intelligence, working both at local and global level
🤝 Imagining & optimising new collaborative forms at local level among research, HEIs, VET and industry
🔧 Developing micro-skills for niche applications
🔬 Reevaluating applied research and hands-on training
🎥 Don't miss our 2-min video 📽️ to see how we're bridging gaps with systems thinking. Hear insights from industry experts Jeroen Franssen ( Agoria ), Frederik Loeckx ( Flux50 ), David van der Meijden ( T2-campus ), Wouter Wissink ( Volta ) as they share their experiences.
Exciting times ahead! 🌟

Timeline 26 September 2024 at 10:32Dear colleagues,
nice meeting all of you.
Let me recommend to take a look at naother ERASMUS+ project that we joined which relates to our content within the Sector Skill Alliance. The project finished by the end of last year, so all results can be found online. The work continues in the form of an association which is currently being built.
Project summary:
EDDIE is a four-year (starting January 2020) Erasmus+ European Union funded collaborative project creating a Sector Skill Alliance (SSA) to develop a long-driven Blueprint for the digitalization the European Energy sector. The Consortia is coordinated by COMILLAS and brings together 16 partners from 10 EU Countries.
The challenge of the project is to develop a long-driven Blueprint for the digitalization of the European Energy sector to enable the matching between the current and future demand of skills necessary for the digitalization of the Energy sector and the supply of improved Vocational Education and Training (VET) systems and beyond.

Indonesia Will Soon Have the Largest Living Laboratory
Energy issues need immediate solutions. We can no longer continue to rely on dinosaur fossils. Real action needs to be taken to find renewable energy sources.
Responding to this, the Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology is building the largest living laboratory in Indonesia. It is called the Renewable Energy Integration Demonstrator of Indonesia (REIDI) and is being built in collaboration with Nanyang Technological University (NTU).
REIDI development coordinator, Ary Bachtiar said it will be completed in 2027. "REIDI will have an area of 1.5 hectares," he said.
Furthermore, REIDI as a living laboratory will focus on research related to renewable energy such as those sourced from photovoltaics, agrovoltaics, biomass, and hydrogen.
The construction of a living laboratory for renewable energy research has received a positive response. Dwina Roosmini, an environmental researcher at the Bandung Institute of Technology, said environmental problems have become exhilarating and require non-conventional steps.
"Conventional steps have been proven to fail or have results that have not been achieved adequately yet," she said.
In general, living laboratories can have a real impact on our lives. The research is also carried out with open innovation and participation from the government, academics, civil society, and industry.
"Currently, living laboratories are considered promising even though they are still new and experimental," said Dwina.
Similarly, energy researcher Rosyid Ridlo Al-Hakim said we can no longer rely solely on coal and fossils. The increasing population is not accompanied by adequate energy source production. This is exacerbated by the fact that most of us still rely on non-renewable energy sources.
"Indonesia, for example. We have a lot of potential renewable energy sources in abundance," he explained.
As a tropical country, Indonesia has the potential for renewable energy sources in the form of geothermal, water energy, wind energy, bioenergy (such as bioethanol, biodiesel, and biomass), ocean current energy, and solar energy.
"This needs to be utilized and explored as much as possible so that it can have real benefits for society," concluded Rosyid.
