This report presents the educational framework behind the P4ELECS project and explains how high-quality learning materials and courses are developed within the initiative. It introduces the project’s core concepts — including Building Blocks, CDIO-spiders, courses, and the Building Block Platform — and shows how they work together to support flexible, future-oriented engineering education.
The report also outlines the quality principles and practical guidelines used by partners when designing educational content. By establishing a shared approach, the framework helps ensure consistency, accessibility, and educational value across all learning materials developed in P4ELECS.
To support practical implementation, the project also developed a series of Quick Sheets. These provide concise, easy-to-use guidance on key topics in course and learning design, such as learning outcomes, lab sessions, presentations, AI in education, and intellectual property.
More broadly, the report highlights how collaboration between partners contributes to creating innovative educational resources that support skills development for the energy and electronics sectors.
